DAILY: Vietnamese pepper prices fluctuated widely on June 19, 2024

AsemconnectVietnam - On Wednesday, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands fluctuated widely to 156,000 - 162,000 VND per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.

Pepper prices early this morning increased in the Central Highlands region, but decreased in the Southeast provinces compared to the same time yesterday.
During the first five months of the year, Vietnam exported 114,424 tonnes of pepper, valued at 493.1 million USD, down 13.2% in volume but up 20.6% in value over the same period last year.
The average export price of black pepper is 4,197 USD per tonne and white pepper, 5,804 USD per tonne, up 754 USD and 849 USD respectively compared to the same period in 2023.
