AsemconnectVietnam - Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation (code CTR - HOSE) has just announced its production and business situation in the first 4 months of 2024 and said that it has completed 29% of its revenue and profit targets for the year.

In April 2024, CTR brought in VND984.2 billion in revenue, up 8% over the same period last year; pre-tax profit reached VND51.3 billion, a slight increase over the same period.
In the first 4 months of 2024, CTR's revenue reached VND3,607.7 billion and after-tax profit reached VND195.6 billion, up 10% and 5% respectively over the same period in 2023. Compared to the 2024 business plan, CTR has completed 29% of both targets.
In terms of revenue structure, the operation and exploitation sector brought in VND1,887.8 billion, unchanged from the same period last year and accounting for 52% of revenue. The construction and installation sector reached VND1,056.9 billion, up 19% and accounting for 29% of revenue. The technical solutions and services sector reached VND449.6 billion, up 38% and accounting for 13% of revenue. The remaining infrastructure leasing sector reached VND181.4 billion, up 38% and accounting for 5% of revenue.
In the infrastructure leasing sector, accumulated to the end of April 2024, Viettel Construction owns 6,989 BTS stations (holding the position of TowerCo No. 1 in Vietnam); 2.45 million m2 of DAS; 2,716km of transmission; 16.92 MWp of solar energy. Accumulated 230 BTS stations have more than 2 or more network operators leasing locations. The shared usage ratio reached 1.03.
In the field of domestic operations, CTR has coordinated with Viettel Telecom to build and deploy improvements to the quality of the fixed broadband network in the second quarter of 2024 and completed the consolidation of 27,334 stations to reach the 100-point standard. Abroad, CTR ensures 100% of network KPIs and handles transmission incidents for Mytel (Myanmar), MetFone (Cambodia) and other TowerCos.
In the construction field, CTR's B2B projects recorded an 88% growth over the same period, reaching VND659 billion. Typical projects include a resort hotel in Mong Lao Cai village (worth VND181 billion), as well as a construction project to build a school and medical station in Hai Phong (worth VND22 billion). Viettel Construction's project coverage rate reached 98% at the district level and 25.6% at the commune level.
