DAILY: Vietnamese live pig prices remained unchanged on February 28
Wednesday, February 28,2024AsemconnectVietnam - On Wednesday, Vietnam’s domestic live pig prices ranged from VND54,000 to VND58,000/kg, according to Kinhtedothi. Compared to yesterday, prices fell in the North and remained unchanged in the Central-Central Highlands and the South.
Price of live pigs in the North
Pig prices in the North recorded a decrease, purchased in the range of 56,000 - 57,000 VND/kg. The price decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in Tuyen Quang province to 56,000 VND/kg. Prices are stable in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, and Ninh Binh.
The remaining localities did not record any new changes in prices.
Price of live pigs in the Central-Central Highlands
The price of live pigs in the Central-Central Highlands region is almost unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 54,000 - 58,000 VND/kg. In Binh Thuan province, the price decreased by 1,000 VND/kg to 57,000 VND/kg.
Traders in the remaining localities continue to buy live pigs at unchanged prices today.
Pig prices in the South
Pig prices in the South are traded between 55,000 - 58,000 VND/kg. Among them, traders of Dong Nai and Vung Tau purchase live pigs at the highest price in the region of 58,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces keep the old transaction price unchanged today.
