Revenue reached $726.6 million, up 133.7% from January 2023. The Vietnam Cocoa Coffee Association (Vicofa) predicts that 2024 will continue to be a favorable year for coffee exports. This association also stated that although output may decrease, export turnover will increase and is expected to reach about 4.5 - 5 billion USD. To achieve this ambitious target, the Vietnamese coffee industry must intensify efforts to improve the value of coffee through a greater emphasis on deep processing, product line repositioning, and alignment with market trends.
Vietnam’s 2023-2024 crop is likely to be down 10 per cent compared to the previous crop.
