DAILY: Vietnamese pepper prices remained unchanged on January 16

AsemconnectVietnam - On Tuesday, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands rose by 1000 VND to VND78,000 to VND81,000 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.vn.

The maximum price for pepper stayed at VND81,000 per kg in Dac Lac and Dac Nong, while in Gia Lai province, the lowest price to VND78,000 per kg. Farmers in Binh Phuoc sold pepper for VND80,500 per kilogram, in Dong Nai province for VND78,000 per kilogram, and in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province for VND80,000 per kilogram.
The Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association forecasts that pepper exports in 2024 will be favorable and prices will increase due to reduced output. Vietnam has exported all of its harvest in 2023, part of the export is taken from imports as well as inventory from the previous year.
