Exports to India reached more than 7.7 billion USD in 11 months of 2023
Sunday, December 31,2023AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to India in November of 2023 reached 729.5 million USD, down by 13.8% compared to the previous month.
Overall, the figures of the first 11 months of 2023 reached more than 7.7 billion USD, up by 6.6% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first 11 months of 2023 was the group of all types of phones and components, reaching 919.8 million USD, down by 36.6% over the same period last year, accounting for 11.8% proportion. The next was the machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts industry group with 838.03 million USD, an increase of 14%, accounting for 10.7% of the proportion.
In the first 11 months of 2023, the export turnover of some product groups saw increase compared to the same period last year, such as iron and steel of all kinds increased by 683.5%; wood and wood products increased by 287.3%; rubber products increased by 63.9%.
India is one of the countries with the highest GDP growth rate in the world. India's population is about 1.4 billion people with a large market capacity, creating many opportunities for businesses from other countries, including Vietnam. Like other countries, the Indian economy was also severely affected by Covid 19 but the economy has gradually recovered and regained growth momentum.
