AsemconnectVietnam - According to the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, the country's export turnover of animal feed in the first 11 months of 2023 reached over 1.11 billion USD, an increase of 7% compared to the first 11 months of 2022.

Of which, the figure of November of 2023 alone reached 98.53 million USD, down by 16.3% compared to October of 2023 but up by 12.6% compared to November of 2022.
The exports of livestock feed to the Chinese market - the largest market, in November of 2023 decreased by 28% compared to October of 2023 but increased by 12% compared to November of 2022, reaching over 43.47 million USD in total. The export turnover to this market in the 11 months of 2023 reached 539.75 million USD, a sharp increase of 32.9% over the same period of 2022, accounting for 48.6% of the country's total export turnover of this product group.
Animal feed exports to Cambodia - the second largest market - increased by 0.9% over the same period, reaching 155.55 million USD, accounting for 14% of total turnover. In November of 2023 alone, it increased by 24.5% compared to October of 2023 but decreased by 12% compared to November 2022, reaching 12.45 million USD.
The Malaysian market ranked third in turnover, reaching 108.65 million USD, up by 30.2% over the same period last year. In November of 2023 alone, animal feed exports to this market decreased by 26.9% compared to October of 2023 and decreased by 0.1% compared to November of 2022, reaching 9.46 million USD.
Animal feed exports to the FTA - RCEP market reached 915.67 million USD, up by 16.6% over the same period last year, accounting for 82.4% of the total turnover. The animal feed exports to the FTA CPTTP market reached 132.98 million USD, up by 10.2%, accounting for 12%; and the exports to the Southeast Asian market reached 329.99 million USD, up by 2,5%, accounting for 29.7% of the total.
