AsemconnectVietnam - Nuoc Trong Hydropower Joint Stock Company (NTH - HNX) has just announced that on December 25, it will finalize the list of shareholders who will advance the second 2023 dividend in cash at a rate of 10%, equivalent to a shareholder owning 1 share. The voucher will receive VND1,000.

With more than 10.8 million shares currently listed and circulating, Nuoc Trong Hydropower will have to spend VND10.8 billion to pay dividends to existing shareholders in this division. The ex-dividend date is December 22, 2023 and the expected dividend payment time is January 11, 2024.
Previously, on September 21, the Company made an advance dividend for the first phase of 2023 also at a rate of 10% in cash. Thus, the total advance dividend in 2023 through 2 dividends is 20%, while the proposed plan is expected to be 30%, far behind the 2022 dividend payment of 45%.
Regarding business activities, according to the third quarter 2023 financial report, during the period the Company recorded revenue of more than VND17 billion, down 34.31%; Profit after tax reached VND4.37 billion, down 58.22% over the same period last year.
Previously, in the second quarter of 2023, Nuoc Trong Hydropower also recorded a sharp decrease in revenue and profit after tax compared to the same period, reaching VND30.4 billion and VND15.7 billion, respectively, a decrease of VND17.4% and down 21.5%.
Accumulated in the first 9 months of 2023, the Company achieved revenue of VND82.27 billion and profit after tax of VND39.12 billion, down 15.48% and 20.9% respectively over the same period.
Thus, with the 2023 plan of revenue of VND90.32 billion, profit after tax of VND33.98 billion, at the end of 9 months, Nuoc Trong Hydropower has completed 91% of its revenue target and exceeded 15.13% of its revenue target.
