AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 11 months of 2023, Vietnam’s cashew exports reached 3.31 billion USD, higher than the figure of 3.05 billion USD that the cashew industry had previously adjusted to reduce export turnover for the whole year of 2023.

The Import-Export Department (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) cited the data from the General Department of Customs as saying that it is estimated that Vietnam's cashew nut exports in November of 2023 reached 65,000 tonnes, worth of 358 million USD, an increase of 1.1% in volume and up by 0.03% in value compared to October of 2023, up by 34.5% in volume and by 30.7% in value compared to November of 2022.
In the first 11 months of 2023, our country's cashew export was estimated to reach 582,000 tonnes, worth of 3.31 billion USD, up by 23.1% in volume and 17.4% in value compared to the same period last year.
It is estimated that Vietnam's average cashew export price in November of 2023 reached 5,512 USD/tonne, down by 12.6% compared to October of 2023 and down by 2.8% compared to November of 2022.
Totally in the first 11 months of 2023, Vietnam's average cashew export price reached 5,682 USD/tonne, down by 4.7% over the same period last year.
In terms of type structure, Vietnam mainly exports cashew nuts W320, W240, W180, accounting for 63.51% of the total volume and 69.84% of the country's total export turnover. Therefore, the export growth of the above types of cashew nuts has had a positive impact on the entire industry.
