DAILY: Vietnamese pepper prices increased by 1000 VND on November 10
Friday, November 10,2023AsemconnectVietnam - On Friday, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands increased by 1000 VND to VND66,000 to VND69,000 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.vn.
In Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the maximum price for pepper rose to VND69,000 per kg, while in Gia Lai province, the lowest price at VND66,000 per kg. Farmers in Binh Phuoc sold pepper for VND68,000 per kilogram, in Dong Nai province for VND66,000 per kilogram, and in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces for VND67,000 per kilogram. According to preliminary statistics from the General Statistics Office, in the first 10 months of 2023, pepper exports will reach 223 thousand tonnes, valued at 745 million USD, up 16.2% in volume but down 11% in value compared to the same period last year. The price pepper average export reached 3,339 USD/tonne, down 23.4% year on year.
