AsemconnectVietnam - According to the report of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (code BSR - UPCoM), the Company's business results in September and the first 9 months of the year were much more positive than the approved plan.

Accordingly, production output in September is estimated to reach 607,738 tons, consumption output will reach 635,920 tons, an increase of 31% and 38% compared to plan. Accumulated production output in 9 months is estimated to reach 5,458,130 tons, consumption output will reach 5.23 million tons, equal to 97% and 93% of the year plan.
Regarding business performance, in September, consolidated revenue was estimated at VND14,788 billion, reaching 188% of the monthly plan. Accumulated for 9 months, consolidated revenue reached VND109,100 billion, exceeding the 2003 plan by 11%.
Profit before tax in September is estimated at VND1,119 billion, 7.48 times higher than the monthly plan. Accumulated for 9 months, the Company reached VND6,367 billion, equal to 3.5 times the yearly plan.
BSR is assessed to operate Dung Quat Oil Refinery safely and effectively. The company has focused on building a safety management system and was evaluated and certified by the international organization DNV to meet the requirements of OSHAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2005 standards on March 8, 2011.
In addition, the BSR safety management system has also been evaluated and re-certified by BSI to meet ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards on February 19, 2020, with 158 processes and professional guidance on safety, health, environment, and fire prevention.
In addition, BSR's environmental safety management system is also evaluated by third parties such as PSRG (USA); Dupont Sustainable Solution to find opportunities for continuous improvement.
In the coming time, BSR's key task is to prepare for the 5th overall maintenance of Dung Quat Oil Refinery in 2024.
At this overall maintenance, BSR will focus all resources on successful implementation with the primary goal of ensuring safety, ensuring quality, saving costs, striving to shorten implementation time compared to with the approved plan to soon put the factory back into operation, contributing to increasing production output and profits for the Company. Maximize the use of on-site resources during maintenance and repair work, minimizing the use of outside technical services to reduce costs.
