AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, Vietnam’s exports of goods to the UAE reached 292.3 million USD in July of 2023. Totally in the first 7 months of 2023, the country’s exports to the UAE reached 2.22 billion USD.

In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is getting better and better and has a good growth trend. There are many groups of export products in which Vietnam has strengths, such as agricultural products; seafood; processed foods; textile; leather shoes; electronic products; machinery, equipment, etc. continues to have a growth trend in both volume and value of exports.
The leading products in export turnover in the first 7 months of 2023 were: phones of all kinds and components with 1.19 billion USD, down by 23.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 53.4% of the total export proportion. The next was the group of computers, electronic products and components with 230 million USD, up by 25.1%, accounting for 10.3% of the export proportion.
In third place was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts with 164.1 million USD, down by 13.3%, accounting for 7.3% of the export proportion.
A number of items with export turnover increased in the first 7 months of 2023 compared to the same period last year, such as cashew nuts increased by 36.3%; means of transport and spare parts increased by 261.1 %; confectionery and cereal products by 81.3%; tea increased by 97.5%; cashew nuts increased by 36.3%.
