AsemconnectVietnam - Damsan JSC (code ADS - HoSE) recorded a favorable business situation in the first 6 months of 2023.

Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2023, the output of yarn and towels exported to China and Japan reached nearly 5,600 tons, up 1.4 times over the same period; increase 2.6 times compared to the last 6 months of 2022 and equal to 90% of total export volume in 2022.
With that result, export sales reached VND461 billion, 1.2 times higher than the same period last year. According to the Company, yarn demand from the Chinese market is currently very high during the post-Covid-19 recovery period. Up to now, the number of export orders is now closed until the end of the third quarter of 2023.
Explaining the positive business results, Damsan said, China - Vietnam's main consumption market reopened in early 2023, has boosted export turnover for many industries of Vietnam, especially especially the fiber industry when China is a partner consuming 70% of Vietnam's yarn.
Taking advantage and efficient operation of 3 modern yarn factories with a total capacity of up to 14,000 tons of CD32 yarn/year, 3,000 tons of towels/year, ADS's output and export sales have recorded an outstanding growth in the first 6 months of 2023.
