Exports to Netherlands reached 2.36 billion USD in first 3 months of 2023
Wednesday, April 19,2023AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands in March of 2023 reached 881.4 million USD, up by 10.7% over the previous month.
The country’s total exports of goods to the Netherlands in the first 3 months of 2023 reached 2.36 billion, up by 4.6% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first three months of 2023 was the following groups of products: computers, electronic products and components with 531.7 million USD, up by 15.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 22.5% of the total export share. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts with 503.2 million USD, up by 46.1% over the same period last year, accounting for 21.3% of the proportion.
And then was the group of phones and components with 330.3 million USD, up by 108.5 %, accounting for 14% of the proportion.
In the first 3 months of 202, a number of items exported to the Netherlands with the export turnover market increased over the same period last year, including means of transport and spare parts increased by 30%; vegetables and fruits increased by 91.3%; other common metals and products increased by 344.3%; and rice increased 99.8%.

Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable, fruit and vegetable trade are concentrated in cooperation relationships with Dutch traders - where the volume of imports from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years. For a long time, the Netherlands has been considered as the gateway to the EU market, the leading transshipment place of Europe and the world for vegetables and fruits. In particular, the EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
