DAILY: Vietnamese pepper prices remained unchanged on April 11

AsemconnectVietnam - On Tuesday, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands remained unchanged at VND63,000 – 65,500 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi,vn.

In Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the maximum price for pepper rose to VND66,000 per kg, while in Gia Lai province, the lowest price stayed at VND63,000 per kg. Farmers in Binh Phuoc sold pepper for VND65,000 per kilogram, Dong Nai province for VND63,500 per kilogram and in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces for VND64,000 per kilogram.
According to preliminary statistics, Vietnam's pepper exports in March 2023 are forecast to reach over 36,000 tonnes. Of which, China imported over 14,000 tonnes. Vietnam's total pepper exports in 3 months reached more than 76,000 tonnes, up 40% compared to the first 3 months of 2022 (54,615 tonnes) and up 23% compared to the first 3 months of 2021 (61,584 tonnes).
