AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the US market in the two months of 2023 reached 6.8 billion USD, up by 11.8% over the previous month.

Generally, in the first two months of 2023, the figure reached 13 billion USD, down by 19.7% over the same period last year.
In the first two months of 2023, leading export turnover was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts with 2.5 billion USD, accounting for 19.3% of the export proportion. The next was the group of computers, electronic products and components with 2.2 billion USD, up by 8.6%, accounting for 16.9% of the export proportion. And then textiles and garments with 1.9 billion USD, accounting for 15% of the export proportion.
Several items saw export turnover growth in February of 2023 compared to January of 2022, such as phones and components increased by 47.3%; gems, precious metals and products increased by 61.8%; iron and steel of all kinds increased by 90%; rubber products increased by 55.1%.
The US is currently leading Vietnam's export markets. Meanwhile, Vietnam has become a major trading partner of the US and an important link in the supply chain of many goods to the US market.
Among the items exported by Vietnam to the US, agricultural products, aquatic products, furniture, decoration occupy very important positions.
