The year 2021 is really a difficult and challenging year for MobiFone when the epidemic has severely affected the whole country, especially the southern region, a key market of MobiFon. However, in difficult times, the spirit of MobiFone people was strongly promoted. With determination, responsibility, initiative and creativity, MobiFone's staffs and employees have synchronously deployed many solutions, effectively realizing the dual goal of "fighting the epidemic and producing business at the same time."
During the peak of the epidemic in 2021, the special imprints of production and business are really impressive. MobiFone's total revenue in 2021 is estimated at VND31,099 billion, completing 103.6% of the year plan; profit before tax is estimated at nearly VND4,960 billion, completing 101% of the year plan; The ratio of profit after tax to equity of the parent company reached 17.47%, completing 101% of the year plan; Data revenue is estimated to grow from 13% to 15%, contributing the largest proportion in the structure of main account revenue of MobiFone.
2022 is a pivotal year for MobiFone to start deploying into new space service areas, the assignment and administration of the Plan also has many new contents. With the determined goal of completing the assigned 2022 plan, MobiFone needs to implement key solutions in 3 key pillars including: Digital Infrastructure, Digital Solutions/Digital Platform and Digital Content Services. At the same time, it is necessary to well implement some management issues such as: Changing the organizational model of MobiFone to match the goals and business orientation of MobiFone Focusing on breakthroughs and breakthroughs in the space sector new; performing internal digital transformation comprehensively; corporate culture innovation.
Making creative efforts in production and business, determined to complete the goal in 2022
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Vice Chairman of the State Management Committee at the enterprise recognized and appreciated the collective efforts of MobiFone's leaders and staff. In particular, in 2021, despite facing many difficulties due to the epidemic, MobiFone has completed and exceeded many important targets in its production, business, investment and development plans; Not only completing the assigned production and business targets, MobiFone also demonstrates the social responsibility and sense of state-owned enterprises when actively participating in programs and activities to prevent and repel the Covid-19 epidemic according to policy of the Government.
"In 2022, it is necessary to carefully review projects, maintain core services, research and invest appropriately for new directions such as fixed broadband, 4G coverage, 5G readiness, and infrastructure investment in data centers. Cloud platform, Mobile Money, digital platforms MobiFone needs to continue to perfect its strategy, complete its 5-year plan, 5-year restructuring project, corporate capital increase project, and continue to promote equitization. According to the Government's roadmap, if the equitization is in the right direction, MobiFone will have new energy for its development.It is necessary to master core technology for MobiFone's real products to create sustainable competitive capacity", directed Mr. Canh.
Mr. Pham Duc Long, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications emphasized: "Regarding the step of the future, converting MobiFone from a traditional service operator into a digital service provider and in 2021, the initial results. In order to achieve the goal, MobiFone must really be a digital enterprise, must be innovative and creative, and to be like that, there must be great pressure and high challenges to force us to change, to break through"
Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors, suggested that the leaders of the units immediately deploy the plan to each staff member, concretize the orientations and plan for 2022 of the State Capital Management Committee at the delivery of the program action of each level, quickly and decisively in the implementation work with the goal of exceeding the assigned plan targets. Continue to invest in digital infrastructure development. Concentrating resources, organizational structure for new fields/new spaces. Implement cost optimization programs, apply technology in management, operation and production and business. Promote internal digital transformation while promoting the completion of products and services to support small and medium enterprises in digital transformation in Vietnam.
