AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to France in the first two months of 2025 reached 628.8 million USD, up by 11.3% over the previous month.

In recent years, France has always been one of Vietnam's leading trading partners in the EU.
Phones of all kinds and components were the group of goods with the largest export turnover to the French market in the first two months of 2025, reaching 123.3 million USD, up by 6.1% over the same period last year, accounting for 19.6% of the export proportion. The next was footwear of all kinds reaching 99.7 million USD, up by 21.6% over the previous month, accounting for 15.8% of the export proportion.
In the first two months of 2025, some export items to France had an increase in export turnover compared to the same period last year: Computers, electronic products and components increased by 76.1%; coffee increased by 173.3%; cashew nuts increased by 46%; vegetables and fruits increased by 30.5%; pepper increased by 52.3%.
Imported agricultural products and foods provide up to 20% of annual domestic consumption in France. Although it is the second largest ocean power in the world, according to data, nearly 2/3 of shrimp and fish consumed in France are imported. At the same time, more than half of vegetables and fruits consumed in France are imported.
In addition to the reason of the continuous decrease in cultivated area, another important reason is the constant increase in market demand for imported fruit juices and fruits (such as avocado, mango, dragon fruit, etc.).
