AsemconnectVietnam - In the first two months of 2025, Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable exports reached nearly 686.9 million USD, down by 15.7% compared to the first two months of 2024, with February of 2025 alone reaching 313.97 million USD, down by16.2% compared to January of 2025 and down by 3.6% compared to February of 2024.

China was still the main market for Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports, accounting for 44.5% of the total fruit and vegetable export turnover of the country. In the first two months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports to this market reached over 305.77 million USD, down sharply by 39% compared to the first two months of 2024. In February of 2025 of alone, the country’s exports of fruit and vegetable reached 132.96 million USD, down by 23.6% compared to January of 2025 and down by 32.1% compared to February of 2024.
Following the main market China was the US market with over 65.62 million USD, a sharp increase of 65.6% compared to the first 2 months of 2024, accounting for 9.6%; South Korea with 41.1 million USD, down slightly by 0.2%, accounting for 6%; Thailand 31.27 million USD, up by 9.2%, accounting for 4.6%; Japan 33.31 million USD, up by 23.2%, accounting for 4.9%.
In general, fruit and vegetable exports to most markets in the first 2 months of 2025 increased in turnover compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
