Thus, the total dividend payment for 2024 over 2 periods is 35%, this is the dividend rate approved by the Company at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and is also the dividend rate for 2023.
Currently, Saigon - Central Beer has a charter capital of nearly VND298.5 billion. In which, Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation (Sabeco, code SAB) holds 32.22% of capital, equivalent to owning nearly 9.62 million SMB shares, will receive VND19.24 billion from dividends of Saigon - Central Beer.
Recently, Saigon - Central Beer announced its consolidated financial report for the second quarter of 2024 with revenue reaching approximately VND363.7 billion, a slight decrease compared to the same period; however, pre-tax and after-tax profits reached VND75.68 billion and VND60.4 billion, respectively, up 8.7% and 7.2% over the same period last year.
In the first 6 months of the year, SMB recorded revenue of VND690.9 billion, an increase of 11.22% over the same period last year; pre-tax and after-tax profits reached VND105.24 billion and over VND84 billion respectively, up more than 17.5% compared to the first 6 months of 2023.
Compared to the 2024 plan of VND1,378.85 billion in revenue and VND78.67 billion in after-tax profit, by the end of the first half of the year, Saigon - Central Beer had completed 50.1% of the revenue target and exceeded the profit target by 6.78%.
