Coffee exports reached 1.2 million tonnes in first 8 months of 2023
Wednesday, September 6,2023AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam’s coffee exports in August were estimated at 90,000 tonnes, down by 20.4% compared to 113,039 tonnes in the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
The country’s total coffee exports in the first 8 months of 2023 were estimated at 1.2 million tonnes, down by 4.9% compared to the total amount of coffee exported in the same period last year.
Although the volume has weakened, the price of export coffee, especially Robusta coffee - Vietnam's main coffee variety, has recorded strong growth over time.
