DAILY: Vietnamese coffee prices decreased by 200 VND on August 10

AsemconnectVietnam - On Thursday, Robusta coffee prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands, the country's largest coffee-growing area fell by 200 VND to VND67,000 – VND67,800 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.

Gia Nghia of Dak Nong provided the maximum price of VND67,800/kg, while traders in Lam Dong province offered the lowest price of VND67,000/kg. Robusta coffee fell to VND67,000/kg in Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha;  to VND67,500  – VND67,600 per kg in Dak Lak; to VND66,000 in Dak Nong; to VND67,200 per kg in Kon Tum, and to VND67,100 - VND67,200  per kg in Gia Lai.
Coffee exports from Vietnam are estimated to have decreased 6% in the first seven months of 2023 from a year earlier to 1.087 tonnes, equivalent to 18.2 million 60 kg (130 pound) bags, the General Statistics Office said on Saturday. Coffee export revenue for Vietnam, the world's biggest producer of the robusta bean, rose 6% to $2.8 billion in the January-July period, the agency said. Its coffee shipments in July are estimated at 80,000 tonnes, valued at $371 million.
