Vietnam earned US$7.22 billion from exports of wood and furniture
Friday, November 30,2018AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported US$7.22 billion worth of wood and furniture in the first ten months of this year, increased by 16.2 per cent over the same period last year, showed the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
Japan ranked second with $931.26 million, up by 9.5 per cent, accounted for 12.9 per cent; and then China - $915.31 million, up by 4.8 per cent; South Korea - $785.74 million, up by 47.9 per cent; and EU - $612.41 million, up by 4.8 per cent.

However, the country’s exports of wood and furniture to Hong Kong fell sharply by 56.7 per cent to $6.72 million; to Turkey – down by 21.2 per cent to $9.42 million; to Kuwait – down by 36.6 per cent to $5.17 million; to Greece – down by 24 per cent to $2.31 million.
