National reserve supports the people and pupils of the localities all over the country to contribute to ensuring social security.

The State Department of Foreign Affairs has instructed the Regional Departments of Foreign Affairs to complete the support for over 11,848 tons of rice for the people during the Lunar New Year in 2018. In particular, support to Nghe An 1,860.63 tons; Yen Bai is 414,135 tons, Lao Cai is 189.99 tons, Tuyen Quang is 340.98 tons, Ninh Thuan is 956,685 tons, Phu Yen is 302.34 tons, Thanh Hoa is 677.67 tons; Binh Dinh is 910,005 tons, Quang Ngai is 2,041.71 tons, Soc Trang is 54.96 tons, Quang Binh is 334,043 tons, Dak Nong is 409.41 tons, Dak Lak is 455.7 tons, Kon Tum is 289,455 tons and Cao Bang province is 605.79 tons.

In addition, the Reserve Department has deployed 5,121 tons of rice to support the people on the occasion of border grain 2018 and to export 1,778 tons of rice to support people involved in the project of planting and protecting forests in Ha Giang .

Also in the first three months of 2018, the Government issued Decree 116, the General Department of Foreign Affairs has instructed the Regional Departments of Foreign Affairs to promptly deliver 13,031 tons of rice to poor pupils in extremely difficult circumstances.
