Iron and steel was the leading item exported by the country to Cambodia in January of this year with $ 64.4 million, up by 155.86 per cent year – on – year.

It was followed by textiles and garments with $ 38.1 million, up by 75.57 per cent; and then petroleum; textile, garment, leather and footwear materials; and machines, equipment and spare parts with $ 33.9 million; $ 19.5 million and $ 10.5 million, up by 19.74 per cent; 58.35 per cent and 107.16 per cent, respectively over the same period last year.

In January, the country’s exports of seafood to Cambodia increased sharply by over 3 times year – on – year to $ 2.2 million.
