Vietnam's Jan-March rice exports seen down 23.9 pct y/y

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam, the world's third-largest rice exporter after India and Thailand, shipped an estimated 1.19 million tonnes of the grain between January and March, down 23.9 percent from the same time a year ago, the government said on Wednesday.
Revenue from the rice exports will reach an estimated $524 million, tumbling 23.3 percent from a year earlier, it said in a monthly report.
