Of which passengers carried by road achieved 606.5 million passengers, a rise of 8.7% and 19.9 billion passengers-kilometers, a rise of 7.9%; by seaway: 1.1 million passengers, 8.6% increase and 54.3 million passengers-kilometers, 5.1% growth. Passenger carriage by airway reached the fair level with 6.9 million passengers, an increase of 12.4% and 8.2 billion passengers-kilometers, an increase of 17.4%. Passenger carriage by railway gained 1.7 million passengers, a drop of 8.4% and 0.8 billion passengers-kilometers, a decline of 3.5% from the same period in 2016.

Cargo carriage in February was estimated to achieve 115.1 million tons, up 13.3% from the same period last year and 21 billion tons-kilometers, up 7.2%. Generally, in two months, cargo carriage reached 233.9 million tons, up 15.3% compared to the identical period last year and 42.6 billion tons-kilometers, up 7.7%, of which the domestic transport gained 228.4 million tons, increased by 15.7% and 20.6 billion tons-kilometers, by 13.9%; overseas transport reached 5.5 million tons, grew by 1.2% and 22 billion tons-kilometers, by 2.4%. By types of transport, cargo transport by road obtained 182.5 million tons, up 16.4% over the same period last year and 11.2 billion tons-kilometers, up 18.7%; by waterway: 39.6 million tons, up 11.5% and 8.5 billion tons-kilometers, up 16.6%; by seaway: 11 million tons, up 13.7% and 22.3 billion tons-kilometers, up 0.4%; only by railway reached 0.8 million tons, a decline of 4.2% and 0.5 billion tons-kilometers, 8% decrease.
