Over US$ 5.48 billion earned from exports of means of transport
Friday, January 20,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam earned over US$ 5.48 billion from exports of means of transport and spare parts in the first 11 months of 2016, slightly increased by 1.9 per cent over the same period of 2015, showed the statistics.
Vietnam exported means of transport and spare parts to 36 countries and territories in the world leading by Japan, the U.S, Thailand, South Korea, China, Malaysia and Canada.
Japan was leading the list of the country’s major export markets of means of transport and spare parts in the first 11 months of 2016 with the export turnover of $ 1.72 billion, down by 1.9 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 31.5 per cent of the total.
It was followed by the U.S with $ 717.59 million, up by 15.6 per cent year – on – year; and Thailand - $ 293.67 million, down by 5.8 per cent.
In the first 11 months of 2016, Vietnam’s exports of means of transport and spare parts to Nigeria increased sharply by 272.9 per cent; to Spain – up by 126.2 per cent; to Italy – up by 64.7 per cent; and to Panama – up by 57.4 per cent.
However, the exports to Denmark, Singapore and Senegal decreased by 86.2 per cent; 59.5 per cent; and 57.9 per cent, respectively.
