Belgium – important export market of Vietnam in EU

In the first three months of this year, Vietnam exported US$ 379.23 million worth of goods to Belgium, down by 11.66 per cent over the same period last year, according to the statistics figures.
Footwear of all kinds was leading in the list of items exported by the country to Belgium in the first quarter of this year with the export turnover of $ 138.15 million, down by 4.08 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 37 per cent of the total.
It was followed by textiles and garments with $ 40.20 million, up by 11.45 per cent.
In the first three months of this year, the country’s export of iron and steel to Belgium saw sharp increase of 141.58 per cent.
