China – Vietnam’s biggest export market of telephones and components
Wednesday, March 7,2018AsemconnectVietnam - China was the biggest export market of telephones and components of Vietnam in the first month of this year with 22.7 per cent of the total market share.
In January, the country’s exports of telephones and components increased sharply by 68.9 per cent over the same month of last year to US$ 3.93 billion, accounted for 19.5 per cent of the country’s total export turnover.
The exports of telephones and components to China in the first month of this year increased by over 20 folds compared with the same period last year but decreased by 46.8 per cent over the previous month to $ 894.58 million.
China was the country’s biggest export market of telephones and components in the first month of this year, accounted for 22.7 per cent of the total.
It was followed by South Korea with $ 432.25 million, up by 88.3 per cent year – on – year; Austria - $ 381.37 million, up by 133.5 per cent; the U.A.E - $ 379.6 million, up by 66 per cent; and the U.S - $ 214.02 million, up by 3.5 per cent.
The EU countries accounted for 23.9 per cent of the total with $ 940.17 million, up by 25.8 per cent compared with the same period last year; and the exports to the South East Asian countries reached $ 259.96 million, up by 36.2 per cent.
In the first months of this year, the country’s exports of telephones and components to China increased sharply by 20 folds; to Cambodia – up by 287 per cent to $ 5.88 million; to the Philippines – up by 239 per cent to $ 42.6 million; to Colombia – up by 171 per cent to $ 28.56 million; to India – up by 149.6 per cent to $ 79.08 million; to Austria – up by 133.5 per cent to $ 381.37 million; and to Sweden – up by 124.4 per cent to $ 31.13 million.
However, the imports of telephones and components in January reached $ 1.58 billion, up by over 89 per cent compared with the same period last year but down by 15.3 per cent over the last month of 2017.
