VN-Australia boxing friendly event to take place in HCM City
Thursday, November 1,2018AsemconnectVietnam - The Vietnam-Australia boxing friendly event, Victory 8, is scheduled to take place on November 3 in HCM City’s Nguyen Du Gymnasium.
Fans will have the chance to behold outstanding names of Australia such as Mateo Tapia, Gretchen Abaniel and Michael Pengue as well as Vietnam’s luminaries including Truong Dinh Hoang, Nguyen Thi Tam and Nguyen Van Duong.
The event aims to create a chance for boxers to exchange with each other and help the Vietnamese boxing community organise professional boxing tournaments in the near future.
The event has a total prize of 400 million VND (17,400 USD). It is co-organised by the Vietnam Sports Platform (VSP), Vietnam Boxing Federation and the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.
