Tour offers new views of Hanoi
Thursday, January 25,2018AsemconnectVietnam - New tours highlighting the remarkable museums, theatres and relics in the capital will be launched by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
The VNAT cooperated with travel agents to organise pilot tours to connect tourists with some attractions of the capital on January 18 and 19.
The activity aims to realise the direction of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien on plans to organise high-quality art programmes and build cultural products to serve tourists, according to Nguyen Dao Dung, vice chairman of the Travel Department (under the VNAT).
Following the direction, the VNAT coordinated with the Vietnam National Museum of History, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, the Vietnam National Puppetry Theatre, the Centre for Research, Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Traditional Culture and travel agencies to build tours to connect museums and theatres with tourism products.
Tours entitled “History of Vietnam – Discovering of the Earth”, "History of Vietnam - Dawn on the Rivers", "Vietnamese Fine Arts - Treasures in Hanoi" and "Vietnam Countryside - a View" have been carried out.
“We want to bring more visitors to these places to give them a panoramic view of the culture and history of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular,” said Dung.
“Now foreign tourists to Hanoi have more options to visit.”
