Quang Nam heritage festival to be held next month

AsemconnectVietnam - The 2017 Quang Nam Heritage Festival will take place from June 7-14 in Tam Ky and Hoi An cities, and other districts in Quang Nam with 22 unique cultural, sports, and tourism events.
In addition, an international kite festival will take place with over 300 traditional and modern kites.
The festival also consist of a silk and brocade festival, a water-skiing contest, an international gastronomy contest, an island heritage exhibition, folk song singing, and a kayak festival.
An exhibition of documentaries, objects, maps on Paracels and Spratly Islands will be on display.
Tam Ky will also host a forum on tourism in the central and Central Highlands regions and a tourism promotion conference.
Quang Nam is home to Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary which won UNESCO’s recognition in 1999, many provincial and national heritages, along with beautiful landscapes.
The province aims to attract 1 million tourists during the festival.
