Classical Indian dances introduced in Hanoi
Thursday, April 20,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Classical Indian dances were introduced in two workshops held at the Indian Cultural Centre in Hanoi on April 18-19.
At the workshops, the four danced of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Odissi, along with traditional dance makeup techniques, were performed by an Indian dance delegation.
The delegation was led by noted Kuchipudi guru V. Jayarama Rao, who has been honoured with the Padmashree award, India’s fourth highest civilian reward.
