Hanoi Buffaloes beat Mono Thew in Thai basketball league
Tuesday, March 21,2017AsemconnectVietnam - The Hanoi Buffaloes came from behind to defeat Mono Thew 91-88 in the semi-final first leg match of the Thailand Basketball Super League in Bangkok on March 18.
In the first set, Mono Thew played better and defeated the only Vietnamese team 26-24.
The two teams fought each other for every point in the second set, as the hosts won by a score of 49-45.
In the third set, Mono Thew retained their lead, however, Hanoi Buffaloes scored 31 points in the decisive fourth set to win 91-88.
Last weekend, the Buffaloes overwhelmed defending champions Hitech in the play-offs to earn their last-four rounds in their first international event.
