The system is a business suite built on Citek Technology’s proprietary operational database system and in-memory computing platform called SAP HANA.

The project, which will be executed within nine months, includes the management of purchases, warehouses, barcodes, production, sales, product quality and maintenance; financial and management accounting; and farming management.

When the system is in place, Hoang Long Seafood will have a management system meeting international standards, with real-time production and business data, and indicators for business performance.

Also, the system is expected to help the company improve its management and develop a smooth procedure for chain activities, from farming and harvesting to processing and exporting.

The seafood processor is also planning to apply management solutions to distribution and product traceability, in a bid to satisfy strict requirements in demanding markets, such as South Korea, Japan, the United States, Canada, and Europe.
