On reaching Can Tho, visitors will be immersed in the typical cultural features of the southwestern river region, with activities including enjoying local specialties from the Cai Rang floating market, walking along Ninh Kieu wharf, exploring the fruit garden in Phong Dien and visiting the ancient village of Long Tuyen.
In 2019, the central city of the Mekong Delta welcomed more than 8.8 million tourists. The city is becoming a prominent destination offering a variety of services and attracting increased interest in investment and development. It is also emerging as the transit hub of the region.
Vietjet currently operates the most routes and flights to Can Tho International Airport, at seven domestic routes and two international ones.
Since its first flight in 2014, Vietjet has contributed to the remarkable transformation of Can Tho and the average growth rate of 30% of the total number of tourists arriving each year in the city.
