Vietnam Expo 2018, held by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company, features 800 booths from Great Britain, the United States, Turkey, Russia, Slovakia, Belarus and a number of Asian countries.

The exhibitors are showcasing a variety of products, such as technological toys, machinery and components, electric and electronic products, building materials, hardware, hand tools, indoor and outdoor furniture, food and beverages and cosmetics.

Several seminars are being co-held by the organizer and some firms within the framework of the event, which will conclude on December 8, including Vietnam-China Economic Cooperation Forum 2018 and an international seminar, titled, “Enhancing life quality and house decoration---Trend and Practical Application in the world.”

Meanwhile, Vietnam Hardware & Hand Tools Expo is aimed at creating a network to link domestic and international firms operating in the hardware and tools sector.

The organizer said the number of exhibitors participating in the expo had increased over the years. The expo attracted 320 firms in 2015, 520 in 2016 and 750 in 2018.

Phan The Anh, a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in HCMC, said the expositions were major convergent points where local firms and international enterprises could meet and sound out cooperation opportunities.

Vietnamese Goods Fair 2018 in Danang will take place from December 12 to 17 at the Exhibition & Convention Center in Cam Le District, featuring 450 booths of over 200 firms.

The participating firms will introduce craft items, footwear, textiles and garments, food and beverages, farm produce and pharmaceutical products, according to the Danang Department of Industry and Trade.

The fair will also feature a number of programs to attract visitors, including an event aimed at introducing products of Yamanashi, Japan, and the Danang-Japan cuisine program.

Besides this, Danang’s Expats Got Talent 2018 will be held on December 8 and 9 at Trung Vuong Theater, Hai Chau District. This is the second time the program has been organized by the Danang Department of Culture and Sports. The program is aimed at strengthening the friendship between residents and authorities in the central coastal city of Danang and the foreign community.
