NA Chairwoman meets Vietnamese community in Europe
Monday, April 17,2017AsemconnectVietnam - On April 14 National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met representatives of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe as part of her ongoing visit to the Czech Republic.
The top legislator asked members of the associations’ executive committees to work harder to connect Overseas Vietnamese, preserve national identity, and develop Vietnamese language.
She said she hopes that the associations’ officials will continue to contribute to development of relations between Vietnam and European countries.
In another development, Vietnam Post and Telecom Group and its Czech partner Novicom signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in cyber security in Prague the same day.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan said IT cooperation is an important part of working agenda during the National Assembly delegation’s visit to the Czech Republic.
