Vietnam promotes Initiatives for ASEAN’s integration
Friday, April 7,2017AsemconnectVietnam - On March 31, the 51st session of the Initiative for ASEAN’s Integration Task Force was convened in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In his speech, Nguyen Hoanh Nam, Vietnam Ambassador to Indonesia and Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to ASEAN, said Vietnam would do its best to promote the initiative to create a momentum for further development in coming years.
He highlighted the significance of the initiative. Speaking to reporters, Mr Nam said Vietnam, as the Chair of the Task Force, will work closely with ASEAN countries, especially with Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar to realize this initiative.
