Vietnam to receive record $17.5 bln in FDI this year

Vietnam is expected to receive an estimated record $17.5 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) this year, up 10.8 percent from a year earlier, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on Tuesday.
FDI is a key source of growth for Vietnam's export-driven economy, which received $15.8 billion in FDI inflow last year.
