AsemconnectVietnam - On Wednesday, Robusta coffee prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands, the country's largest coffee-growing area fell by 500 VND to VND65,300 – VND66,200 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.

Gia Nghia of Dak Nong provided the maximum price of VND66,700/kg, while traders in Lam Dong province offered the lowest price of VND65,800/kg. Robusta coffee fell to VND65,300/kg in Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha; to VND65,900 – VND66,000 per kg in Dak Lak; to VND66,100- VND66,200 in Dak Nong; to VND65,600per kg in Kon Tum, and to VND65,500 - VND65,600 per kg in Gia Lai.
Vietnam’s coffee exports in August were estimated at 90,000 tonnes, down by 20.4% compared to 113,039 tonnes in the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
The country’s total coffee exports in the first 8 months of 2023 were estimated at 1.2 million tonnes, down by 4.9% compared to the total amount of coffee exported in the same period last year.
Also, Vietnam's coffee harvest this year is expected to drop more than -7% to 1.67 MMT, the smallest crop in four years, according to a Bloomberg survey of exporters and traders released on May 3.
