AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics of the General Department of Customs, Vietnam’s exports of goods to South Korea in July of 2023 reached 2.1 billion USD, up by 13.7% compared to the previous month.

The figure of the first 7 months of 2023 reached 13.1 billion USD, down by 7.2% over the same period last year.
The item with the largest export turnover in the first 7 months of 2023 was the group of computers, electronic products and components with over 2.5 billion USD, up by 25%, accounting for 19.6% proportion. The next was phones and components with 2 billion USD, accounting for 15.4% of the proportion, down by 36.9% over the same period last year. And then textiles, reaching 1.6 billion USD, down by 3.2%, accounting for 12.3% proportion.
Some groups of goods exported to South Korea have increased export turnover in the first 7 months of 2023, such as means of transport and spare parts increased by 61.1%; cameras, camcorders and accessories by 40.7%; electric wires and cables by 25.1%; petrol and oil of all kinds increased by 41.1%; precious stones and precious metals increased by 33%.
