AsemconnectVietnam - According to TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, TNG’s total sales revenue in the first quarter of 2020 reached VND 773 billion, equal to 96 percent compared to the same period of the first quarter of 2019.

The reason for the slight decrease in revenue is due to the complicated effects of the Covid-19 disease in the world, so customers temporarily delayed the delivery time, resulting in a 5 percent decrease in export sales. If all 400,000 products worth US $ 2.1 million are exported, TNG's export revenue will increase by 1.3 percent over the same period of last year.
In the context of pandemic outbreak, TNG has flexibly manufactured antibacterial masks, licensed by the Ministry of Health and boosted consumption. As a result, domestic revenue in the first quarter of 2020 reached VND 63.3 billion, an increase of 10 percent compared to the same period last year. In particular, the orders focused on masks in February 2020 pushed domestic sales tripled over the same period, reaching VND 34.4 billion.
In addition, TNG has researched and successfully produced "Preventive medical protective clothing" - joining hands with all levels and branches in the fight against epidemics. TNG's production capacity can meet 100,000 products/day, besides domestic use, TNG is opening up the export direction.
Also in the first quarter of 2020, TNG had export big orders to Europe. Currently, TNG is carrying out procedures to apply for quality certificates according to European and American standards to export medical goods to these markets. New directions, exports of medical protective goods in the form of ODM, have very positive prospects.
