Vietravel (VTR) estimated to reach nearly VND6,000 billion revenue in 2023

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports Joint Stock Company (Vietravel, VTR stock code: HNX) informed that by the end of 2023, the Company will serve 730,314 visitors; Revenue is estimated to reach nearly VND6,000 billion, an increase of 29% in visitors and 56% in revenue compared to 2022.

According to Vietravel, the economic situation in the world and Vietnam is volatile and difficult, so it has had a strong impact on many businesses' business activities. However, Vietravel has maintained its rapid recovery pace after the Covid-19 pandemic. With an effective business strategy, it opens up new opportunities and prospects for Vietnam's tourism industry in the future.
In 2023, Vietravel served 730,314 visitors; Revenue is estimated to reach nearly VND6,000 billion, an increase of 29% in visitors and 56% in revenue compared to 2022, reaching 102% of the plan set at the beginning of the year, and accounting for 87% of visitors compared to the previous period.
In the fourth quarter 2023 alone, Vietravel's revenue is estimated at VND1,435 billion, a record number that exceeds even before the pandemic.
For Vietravel Airlines, 2023 has made important steps forward in its organizational structure and development strategy. At the same time, it has expanded its domestic and international flight network with over 1 million passengers flying in absolute safety combined with the success of 80 international charter flights.
During the Spring 2024 travel period, Vietravel Airlines plans to operate more than 100,000 seats across the domestic and international flight network, implementing international charter series with a frequency of 1 flight/day.
In its business strategy orientation for the next 5 years, Vietravel said that together with its member companies, it aims to develop based on 3 main axes: Green tourism, digital transformation and expanding the scope of connectivity. In particular, "Green tourism" is not only a foundation for sustainable development but also aims to experience eco-tourism, associated with environmental protection. "Digital transformation" will be focused on upgrading information technology systems, applying AI and Big Data to bring more experiences to customers and optimize internal management. "Expanding the scope of connectivity" will promote the global partner network; expand markets and services, especially in the fields of aviation and international tourism.
