AsemconnectVietnam - Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company (stock code TDM – HOSE) has just announced the results of production and business activities for the first 11 months of 2023.

Specifically, in the first 11 months of 2023, TDM recorded water consumption reaching nearly 60.5 million m3, down 4% compared to the same period in 2022. The water loss rate is 0.48%, while in the same period last year. Previously it was 0.94%.
Thereby, the total revenue in 11 months of Thu Dau Mot Water reached VND541.6 billion, up 19% over the same period, of which: water production revenue reached VND419.1 billion (up 97%), Financial income reached more than VND112 billion, 6.1 times higher than the same period due to recording dividends in 2022 of Joint Stock Company - Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation (BWE). As a result, the Company's profit after tax is VND274.7 billion, an increase of 38% compared to the first 11 months of 2022.
In 2023, the Company targets water consumption to reach more than 76.3 million m3, total revenue to reach VND642.2 billion and profit after tax to be VND298.4 billion. Thus, after 11 months of the year, Thu Dau Mot has completed 79%, 84% and 92% of the year's plan, respectively.
In another development, at the end of October 2023, the TDM Board of Directors agreed to implement a plan to offer 10 million shares to existing shareholders at a price of 30,000 VND/share at a ratio of 10:1 (shareholders own 10 shares). The total amount of money mobilized from the offering is expected to be VND300 billion, which TDM is expected to use to buy CTW and CMW shares; The remaining amount is to pay off debt.
The expected offering time is in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, after approval by the State Securities Commission. If successful, TDM's charter capital will increase to VND1,100 billion.
