At a reception in Hanoi on January 8 for visiting Japanese Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Takaichi Sanae, Minh Chinh, who is also a Politburo member, member of the Committee’s Secretariat and head of the Vietnam – Japan friendship parliamentarians’ group, showed his joy at the strong and substantial development of the relations between the two nations.

He hailed the minister’s role in and positive contributions to the development of the bilateral strategic partnership, and asked her to assist Vietnam in human resource training and e-government building.

For her side, the Japanese minister told her host that her ministry and the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam will augment future cooperation with a focus on the ICT, postal services and e-government building.

She also pledged that as the minister and with her fine sentiment towards Vietnam, she will make greater efforts to further boost the development of bilateral ties.
