Vietnam’s seafood exports reached US$8.03 billion
Friday, December 14,2018AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam’s exports of seafood reached US$8.03 billion in the first 11 months of this year, increased slightly by 5.6 per cent over the same period last year, showed the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
Besides, the country’s exports of seafood to China in the first 11 months of this year reached $910.43 million, down by 9.8 per cent; to South Korea - $785.66 million, up by 11.3 per cent; to the South East Asian countries - $615.59 million, up by 12.1 per cent year – on – year.
In the first 11 months of this year, the country’s exports of seafood to Cambodia increased sharply by 75.8 per cent to $23.2 million; to the U.A.E – up by 66.5 per cent to $69.49 million; to India – up by 44.3 per cent to $25.92 million; to Egypt – up by 44.7 per cent to $42.21 million; to Brunei – up by 35.3 per cent to $1.54 million.
However, the exports of seafood to Saudi Arabia decreased sharply by 76.5 per cent to only $14.16 million; to Czech – down by 46 per cent to $4.92 million; to Denmark – down by 31.59 per cent to $42.13 million; to Indonesia – down by 24.4 per cent to $3.78 million.
