In May, the country’s exports of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas reached $ 296.37 million, up by 4 per cent over the previous month and by 5.8 per cent over the same month of 2017.

 

The U.S was the country’s biggest export market of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas in the first five months of this year with the export turnover of $ 489.98 million, accounted for 36.5 per cent of the total and decreased by 11.8 per cent over the same period last year. Meanwhile, the exports to Japan reached $ 152.77 million, up by 4.3 per cent; and to the Netherland reached $ 137.27 million, up by 12.8 per cent.

In the first five months of this year, the country’s exports of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas to Czech increased sharply by 202.2 per cent to $ 2.55 million; to Poland – up by 57.7 per cent to $ 4.84 million; to Brazil – up by 26 per cent to $ 4.33 million; and to South

Korea – up by 14.2 per cent to $ 60.32 million.

 

However, the exports of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas to Denmark, Malaysia and Singapore decreased by 28.7 per cent; 28.4 per cent and 20.9 per cent, respectively over the same period last year.
