Footwear exports totaled US$ 6.24 billion in five months
Friday, July 6,2018AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam’s exports of footwear totaled US$ 6.24 billion in the first five months of this year, increased by 10.4 per cent over the same period last year showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
In the first five months of this year, Vietnam’s exports of footwear of all kinds to India increased sharply by 80 per cent to $ 39.19 million; to Portugal – up by 68.1 per cent to $ 1.25 million; to Argentina – up by 51.9 per cent to $ 43.8 million; and to Finland – up by 41.1 per cent to $ 8.71 million.
However, the exports of footwear to the U.A.E decreased by 28.9 per cent to $ 38.04 million; to Denmark – down by 28.6 per cent to $ 13.73 million; to Austria – down by 20.3 per cent to $ 11.3 million; and to New Zealand – down by 10.7 per cent to $ 10.39 million.
